The Château is located in the Lot region of France, near the towns of Rocamadour and Gramat.
The Château is a four star hotel and has been a member of the prestigious Relais & Châteaux group since 1966. The Château has a total of 15 rooms including 2 suites. Each room has been individually decorated by owner Luce Lainé with antiques and objects d'art. They have been individually and personally decorated by Madame Luce Lainé herself.
All the rooms are equipped with: Bath tub, hairdryer, Color Television, Telephone and Mini-bar.
The grounds are comprised of a beautiful 12 acres park and a large swimming pool. Additionally, there is a cozy library with books in many different languages.
A gourmet restaurant, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner, is presided over by owner-chef Jean Louis Lainé. The restaurant is open everyday for dinner, except Tuesday. Lunch is served on Sunday only.
In 1965 our Family transformed the castle in an hotel, the Chateau was bought by our family. After eighteen months of renovation, the Chateau was opened as a hotel. Many famous guests have come to visit. Among the more memorable are General de Gaulle, President Pompidou, Raymond Queneau, Carole Bouquet, M/Mme François Pinault, Marie Christine Barrault, Robert Hossein, Candice Patou, Patrick de Carolis, Alexandra Stewart and many other artists and politicians.
Today Luce and Jean-Louis Laine are the second generation to welcome you. We hope that the atmosphere of our special home will linger in your memory for years to come.
