Château Lespinassat, situated on the outskirts of Bergerac, is a truly authentic example of an 18th century French country residence. Initially, the manor of Alba de Lespinassat in the 16th century, then the residence of the Viscounts of Montbazillac during the 18th century, this historic national monument has been restored to its former splendour after 20 months of renovation. A warm welcome awaits you at Château Lespinassat, which tastefully combines the charm of French tradition with every modern convenience.
The Château has two bedrooms and one suite as well as a series of lounges with beautiful decorative ceilings and original panelling, antique furniture and fine paintings. Whilst staying in these elegant and spacious rooms you can relax in the extensive gardens, around the swimming pool or you may perfer to take a leisurely drive in the surounding regions of the Dordogne valley or the vineyard of Bergerac, Saint-Emilion and Bordeaux.
The Château bordered by its terrace, boasts a series of welcomming lounges on the ground floor adorned either with panelling or elegant fabric wall coverings, where you can sample our homemade pastries, play billiard, or enjoy an aperitif in front of the fireplace before dinner. On the first floor there is a vast suite Louis XV decorative panelling and a master bedroom with a beautyful high ceiling and a Regency fireplace, which was discovered during th restoration.
