Hostellerie Le Marechal is located in the tranquillity of a village at the water’s edge, right in the centre of town. Old, half-timbered houses, balconies heaped with flowers, weeping willows which dip their boughs into the Lauch waters… this is the heart of Colmar, the old quarter which is so picturesque that it has been called "Little Venice".
Constructed in 1565 on the fortified walls which encircle the old town (11th century), the Hostellerie Le Marechal welcomes you to the centre of this enchanting spot. Everything about the place has charm, tranquillity, elegance and courtesy.
The 30 Rooms and suites are nostalgic, furnished with good brocades and antiques, but with 21st century conveniences: Television (international chanels), Minibar, Direct Phone, Individual Air Conditioning, WC, Safe, Hairdryer, all equiped with bath (some with whirpool bathroom) and shower (some with massage shower).
The Restaurant «A l’Echevin» proposes famous gastronomic meals. Our Chef prepares tradional French Cuisine with regional food, fresh lobster and fish. It’s a just a hop to the restaurant down by the water; they are the special charme of this house. The different Rooms of the Restaurant «Roesselmann», «J.S. Bach» and the terrace outside are situated directly on the river side.
The dining-rooms on the edge of the water will provide you with a marvellous setting where you can enjoy your meal to the sound of classical music, by candlelight.
